Notice of Public Hearing Town of Unity Planning Board February 26, 2025 Land Use Ordinance Changes

The Town of Unity Planning Board, at its meeting on February 26, 2025 at 6:00 pm at the Unity Town Office located at 74 School Street will conduct a public hearing on proposed changes to the Land Use Ordinance:

1. Section II. Administration, Subsection 3. Types of Permits, 7. Occupancy Permit - Omit the paragraph beginning with “Before” and items 1 through 4. Re: language is redundant and only meant to apply to Section II. Administration, Subsection 6. Application Procedure, C. Requirements for Building Permit Applications for Accessory Dwelling Units and D. Requirements for Building Permit Applications for Additional Dwellings on One Lot, not all Occupancy Permits.
2. Section X. Development Review, Subsection 5. Standards for Approval, Re: re- letter individual standards D through N. A copy of the proposed changes is available for public inspection at the Unity Town Office during normal business hours on Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday from 8:00 am to 2:00 pm and Tuesday from 11:00 am to 6:00 pm.
